Vietnam or Mexico?
Choose Vietnam for upholstered furniture at scale: sofas, sectionals and seating in steady container volumes. Choose Mexico when proximity to North America matters most, for shorter transit, faster replenishment and easier visits. Some programs use both, and a supplier with its own offices in each country can run them as one.

When Vietnam is the right choice
Vietnam suits programs built around upholstery: sofas, sectionals, sofa beds, accent and dining chairs, ordered in repeat container volumes. Its furniture industry is one of the largest in the world, with mature upholstery skills and an established supply of foam, fabric, leather and timber. Plan for ocean transit in your calendar and the scale pays back.
When Mexico is the right choice
Mexico suits buyers who need to be close: shorter transit to the USA and Canada, quicker replenishment, and production you can visit easily. Furniture making is concentrated in regions such as Jalisco, Nuevo León and Baja California, covering seating, tables, case goods and outdoor pieces.
Using both
Some buyers split a range: core upholstery from Vietnam at volume, with faster moving or bulkier pieces from Mexico. With offices on the ground in both countries, Designs 4 Life runs the two as one program, with one team, one quality standard and one point of contact.
