Who is Designs 4 Life?
Designs 4 Life is a global B2B furniture supplier. We design and produce OEM and ODM furniture in Vietnam and Mexico and ship it in container loads to importers, wholesalers, retailers, brands and hospitality FF&E buyers. Our own offices on the ground in both countries run development, production and quality control. More
Is Designs 4 Life a manufacturer or a sourcing agent?
Neither description is complete. Designs 4 Life is a production company: our own teams in Vietnam and Mexico develop each product, place it with dedicated production partners, manage production on the floor and inspect every unit. Buyers deal with one accountable supplier from sample to container. More
Where are your offices?
We have our own offices and staff on the ground in Vietnam and Mexico, working alongside production every day. More
Who do you sell to?
Businesses only. We supply importers, wholesalers, retailers, brands and hospitality FF&E buyers in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. We do not sell to consumers. More
How do you ship?
In container loads. Programs ship from Vietnam and Mexico in full containers, with every carton labelled to customer specification. Our Vietnam production ships 150 to 180 40HQ containers a month. More
What furniture do you produce in Vietnam?
Sofas and sectionals, sofa beds, lounge and accent chairs, upholstered furniture, dining chairs, and ottomans and benches. More
What is your production capacity in Vietnam?
Our Vietnam upholstery production runs on a 25,000 m² production floor with a skilled workforce of 450 to 600, a quality control team of 15 and a research and development team of 20. Output is 150 to 180 40HQ containers a month. More
How long does sample development take?
Sample development takes 3 to 4 weeks from a confirmed brief. More
What is the production lead time?
Production lead time is 60 to 90 days after sample approval. More
What do you need from me to start?
Photos, drawings, dimensions, specifications or a reference sample. Our design and engineering teams work alongside production to turn your brief into a sample that meets your requirements before a single unit is built. More
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
With OEM we produce your design to your specification. With ODM we develop the design with you, from concept through engineering and sampling, for you to sell under your own brand. Both run through the same five step development process. More
Can you produce private label furniture?
Yes. We produce to your specification and label cartons and products to customer specification for export. More
How do you control quality?
Our own people on the ground oversee every stage, from first sample to final container, and a dedicated quality control team inspects every unit before it is cartoned, labelled to customer specification and loaded. More

Fabric, leather, foam, solid wood, plywood, and metal and hardware. More
Which markets do you supply?
The USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. More
Do you work on hospitality FF&E projects?
Yes. We produce upholstered seating and furniture for hospitality FF&E programs, built to the project specification, sampled for approval and labelled for delivery to customer specification. More
What do you produce in Mexico?
In Mexico our local team designs, sources and manages manufacturing of seating, tables, consoles, chairs and benches, with indoor and outdoor fabric options. More
Why produce upholstered furniture in Vietnam?
Vietnam combines mature upholstery skills, large export scale and established furniture clusters in the south. With our team on the ground, a program moves from sample in 3 to 4 weeks to production in 60 to 90 days at container volume. More
Should I produce in Vietnam or Mexico?
Choose Vietnam for upholstery at scale: sofas, sectionals and seating in steady container volumes. Choose Mexico when being close to North America matters, for shorter transit and easier visits. Designs 4 Life has offices in both, so one supplier can run either or both. More
